Well today is the last day of January and it was pretty chills. I just want to say that I love my AVID 12 family and I hope that we will keep grinding until we leave New Town High.

So sorry that I have been MIA. Over the weekend I was at Hood College for a lacrosse recruiting overnight stay. It was really cool and I enjoyed myself. I really can't wait until I go to Hood. The lacrosse coach was really cool and their team is really cool. Today was another chill day I just thank God for getting me through it.

Today was another chills day. It started out really slow and boring but after school it really picked up. So today I hit the weight room once again and I know that my body is getting stronger because the workouts don't take that much of a toll on me anymore. Tomorrow is my overnight stay at Hood I hope I have a great time,

Today was just another one of those where you just breeze the day. It was pretty chill and easy today. I got some great news from Hood college in the mail today. They increased my Merit Scholarship from $11,000 to $14,000! Now I have to raise between $26,000-$30,000 to be able to attend Hood.

Today was a cool first day of 3rd Quarter. I got to talk to some 8th graders about AVID. I feel like they were a good group and they were really enthusiastic about being a part of the AVID family.

Today was a chill day up until the Ravens lost to the Patriots. Other than that it was a regular sunday. Once again I would like to add that I hate snow, especially when it is mixed with ice because I definitely slipped and fell like 5 times today! The sermon in church today was really powerful. My pastor talked about how people would view you after you were gone. I want people to view me as a hard working man that loved God, his family, and lacrosse

I don't really like snow. today was pretty boring. I watched like 10 college basketball games and a bunch of movies. I can't wait until spring time, lacrosse season needs to start ASAP. Well second quarter is over, which means that I only have semester left in high school. If Mr. Hopkins does't play with me I should have 4 As and 2 Bs. If I haven't gotten grades like that since my freshman year! Jacquynn emailed the track coach at hood today. I really really hope that she gets in.

Wow I did not even know that I have reached 70 blogs! I can't wait until I reach 100. Today was a great day Dona really helped fine tune my essay for this scholarship I really hope that I get it because lord knows I need it. Today admissions officer at Hood College sent me an email saying that I should expect something in the mail about my merit scholarship. I really hope that they give me more money.

Today was a great day. I got a 92% on my ap calculus test and overall today was just really chill. After school I went to the weight room and I put in some work. I'm not that sore today so I guess that means I am getting stronger. I also got to stay after school today and help Cody with his science project and that was fun. Cody is a really funny guy. I also got to tel Jacquynn about how bad the track coach at Hood College wants her. I hope that she gets accepted and that she gets in.

Today was a chills day. Last night I got a letter from Susquehanna University saying that they are offering me 17,000 a year!!! I also went to the weight room today and once again my legs are sore. Well hard works pays off and I know that.

Today I went to Hood College to visit the coach and to attend the Financial Seminar. Hood College's new athletic facility is AWESOME. It looked like a D1 facility. I am really excited to play for them in 2013. The financial seminar was very informative.

Today is MLK Day. Even though today was really boring and I did not do much it allowed to think about the importance of what MLK did for African Americans. It is so sad how some people take that for granted. I for one will not do that and if I have I will never do it again. Thanks Dr. Martin Luther King.

Today is the 3rd Sunday of January. The service at church was very good. It really made me think about some of the things that I have to change in my life. The ravens played the texans today. Even though we won I know that we could have played a lot better.

Today is Saturday, and it's REALLY COLD OUTSIDE. I don't care though I still want to go out and play lacrosse. Lol unfortunately nobody else feels that way. On the other hand, today some of my friends are having a dinner party at Fridays. I hope it will be fun.

Well today was friday the 13th. However unlike most people I don't really care for that superstitious stuff. Today was just another day of being confused in AP Calc. Its like some days Mr. Hopkins teaching style is perfect and then others its like WHAT IN THE HECK IS GOING ON. But I won't give up. I have to get a high B or A on this test in order to get a B in the class, so I have to study really hard.

I am still very very sore from going to the weight room yesterday. Well I guess I can't complain because that means I am building muscle. Well it dawned on me today that I need to start filling out scholarships and grants.

Ok so today was pretty good. I blew threw the day and I had a pizza party after school. Today was also the first official day of lacrosse training and conditioning. IT WAS HELL. Afterwards my body felt like jelly. Well this has made me want to changes some things about myself. From now on everything I will do 50 push ups and sit ups. I will also cut down on the amount of snacks that I consume on a daily basis.

Today was a very good day. I was able to meet up with my coaches at the Green Turtle and talk about some changes that we should make to New Town's lacrosse program. They were really happy to recieve the hoodies that we bought them.

Today is the second Sunday of 2012. The deputy major came to my church to present my pastor with an award that said he was a main part in crime prevention in east Baltimore. Its great to see people rewarded for all their hard work. I am proud of my pastor.

Today is the alumni game, and I am really excited to go. I have never been to one and its going to be nice to be with my friends (especially Jacquynn) outside of class. I'm so proud of myself, I was able to do more than 90% of my math homework all by myself.

Ok so main highlight of the day is, Ms. banister is really slowing things down in her class. Like today her class was great because I actually learned something. Today we talked about Elizabethan Sonnets. Another highlight is that I have finished my FAFSA forma and I am waiting for them to send me my SAR.

today was just another day for me. i was accepted into Howard University and school was really chill. I really wanted to go to the weight room but it was closed. I guess that means I have to do 100 push-ups tonight.

OK so the first day of school after Christmas break was really chill. Like I thought I was going to forget everything but I didn't and I really feel like I am grasping the concept of Integrals in AP Calculus. Well today I received my acceptance letter to Howard University! Even thought i don't want to go there I am happy I got accepted because that is my father's Alma Mater. Today was also really good because coach Brooks and a lot of the New Town faculty congratulated me on my commitment to Hood College! I can't wait until lacrosse season starts.

Happy New Year everyone! I just realized that I have blogged everyday over break! Well anyway I'm just going to relax today and get ready for school on Tuesday. The ravens play the Bengals today and we are going to win!!!
