Today is starting off to be a great day and I might even blog twice today. I got an email saying that a writer from BaltimoreLacrosseNews.com wrote an article about me! I feel so blessed that God has given me the opportunity and the passion to play lacrosse. Here is the link below.

No new college highlights for today but the new nike cleats and jordans that I ordered came in the mail today. Other than that today was another boring day filled with me doing nothing except reading and watching lacrosse highlight videos. Well here is a picture of my new cleats and sneakers.

Today was the most boring day of break. I mean I really did not do a thing all day long. I'm kind of ready to come back to school. Well here is what the lacrosse coach from Hood sent to everyone affiliated to the Hood Lacrosse Program about me.
Hello future Blazers,
Hope you are well and that you are enjoying the winter break.
Here's another quick update for you, and I'll start it off by sharing with you another recruit that has commited.
1-His name is Prosper Odilatu and he is our 4th commitment for 2012. Here is a little on Prosper:
Prosper Odilatu is a 6’0”, 170-lb., midfielder from New Town High School in Owings Mills, Md. He has only been playing lacrosse for four years but because of his speed, agility, and his love for the game he has adapted abnormally quickly to the game. . At New Town, Prosper is a team captain and holds the school record for most points in a season . This summer, Prosper played lacrosse for the Chesapeake Rock lacrosse club. Additionally, in 2011, he was named 1stTeam All-County and 1st Team All-Division. Prosper will also be the first player from New Town High School to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.
Here's a quote from Prosper: ”I chose Hood because of academics and because Coach Mattoon really tried his best to make the recruiting process easier for me. I can really see myself as a student-athlete at Hood College.”
MATTOON: "Prosper is a quality young man from a great family. He is a tremendous athlete and has an extremely high nergy level. He will make an immediate impact on our campus and I am excited to welcome him to Frederick."

So this is when Christmas break gets boring. Today I have nothing to do and on top of that it's raining really hard outside. Well I guess this would be a good time to try and read Hamlet. That book is really hard to understand I have no idea what is going on and on top of that I have to write an essay about it.

Christmas Eve!
Yesterday's basketball game was super chills. College Park beat Radford 61 - 58. I had a really nice time with my family. However today is a new day. Its almost 2012 and I woke up thinking what negative thing in my life I want to make positive in 2012. I'm not sure what I want to change yet but when I find it I pray that I will be able to change.

2 more days til Christmas!!!!
So today I got some more great news. i got my acceptance letter from McDaniel College, and they are offering me 18,000 per year. Also my indoor lacrosse team was able to win our final game of our season and I scored 6 goals! I stayed home from school today because I didn't feel like going but now I regret that decision because that would have been the last time of me being with my AVID family in 2011

Day after my brother's bday
So today I woke up and realized that lately I have had really nonchalant attitude towards school. Especially towards blogging. I'm going to try my hardest to fix that. Also if I don't blog today and my name gets drawn in AVID tomorrow I don't want to lose points for my house. Another reason why I am blogging is because I got some great news today. First Stevenson awarded me with the Dean's Scholarship. Initially Stevenson was only offering me $5,000 a year but since I went up 300 point on my SAT's they now are offering me $12,000 a year. Other good news is that I have one more game left in my indoor lacrosse season. One more game to prove myself. Last game I did not score even thought we won I did not get to feel that great feeling you get when u blow past the defense and fake out the goalie. Last game we won 12-7 and I had 2 assists but this last game will be another story. I WILL SCORE MULTIPLE GOALS AND MY TEAM WILL WIN. If we win we will finish fourth place in our league.

I'm so happy for him and his family. Well now I am about to go do this homework. Shout out to Jordan Quick for getting accepted into like 7 schools. Keep up the good work.

Today was Jessica Spence's birthday. I hope she had a great day. My day was rather dry and mundane. I hate the fact that I have to blog on days like this. NOTHING exciting happened.

STEVENSON UNIVERSITY!!!
I know that I haven't blogged in a couple of days and because of that I have a C in AVID. However I am not here to blog about how tedious blogging can be. I am here to announce that I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO STEVENSON UNIVERSITY. This is the first acceptance that I have received out of my top 8 schools. I just thank God for allowing me to get accepted. I am so happy.

12/5/11
Today was a very good day and I am thankful to God for blessing me with it. For the past couple classes in AVID we have been having very heated discussions about the importance and the relevance of going to college. I love having class debates because I like to see where my other classmates stand on various views and I like to argue sometimes. However I feel that college is not only about education. The experience of college is much much more. I mean people meet people that help them find careers in the future some people even find their spouses in college. I think people should stop looking at college only from the academic aspect, although it is very important it is not the only aspect of college.

12/3/11
Woke up a little earlier than usual this Saturday morning because I know I have a lot of school work to do. So I checked my email and the lacrosse coach from Hood College said that Hood's Men's Lacrosse program will now be sponsored by Maverick(A TOP LACROSSE BRAND). I'm so excited for play college lacrosse. But he said that he would be closing up his recruiting pool in 6 to 8 weeks and I'm scared that that won't be enough time for me to make the right decision I just pray that God will help me
12/2/11
Today was another cool day. AP Bio is starting to get much more challenging but I believe I can handle it. I'm also excited to say that I actually grasped the concepts that we were learning about in AP Calc. I got a lacrosse again against the best team in the league. I'm soo pumped an ready for this game.

12/1/11
Yeaaaa first day of December. Today was a pretty good day I can't complain. Well I have talked to a couple of the college lacrosse coaches that recruited me and they said that they should be hearing from admissions next week. Hopefully I get some good news. 17 more days until my birthday. I have an indoor lax game tomorrow. After many games of frustration I finally scored last game hopefully I will be able to score more and more.
